Australasian Corrosion Consultants (ACC) was engaged by BP Australia to conduct a series of corrosion assessment surveys as part of BP’s national Pipeline Integrity Management System (PIMS). The objective of this initiative was to establish baseline data on the condition of BP-owned and operated terminal pipelines, specifically focusing on wall thickness and protective measures.
The scope of work included the BP-Burnie, BP-Gladstone, and BP-Mackay Wharflines, with the aim of supporting long-term asset durability and integrity across BP’s infrastructure.
