Bill has worked in the corrosion industry for over 45 years for a variety of companies and the public service associated with the management and supply of corrosion and electrolysis services. His responsibilities included administration, recruitment, marketing, budgets, workforce planning, training & supervision, safety, operations, improvements, productivity improvements and company administration.

Bill has experience in the management of corrosion on pipelines, bulk liquid containers, civil infrastructures and the repair of corrosion damaged concrete infrastructure and buildings. His experience includes design, installation and commissioning of cathodic protection systems for metallic and concrete structures, corrosion investigation on metal and concrete structures, specification and scope of work documentation, defect investigations, and project management. Bill’s experience has been gained in such industries as Water & Sewerage, Power Generation and distribution, Marine & Ports, Oil and Gas Refining and Processing, Industrial and Building Construction and repair.

Susie Gerritsen is a Director and Financial Controller of ACC. She has played a central role in the business since she and Bill Gerritsen took it over in 2001. Her career in small business has given her extensive experience in finance, administration and business management.

Susie began her career in the office of a chiropractic clinic, where she developed an interest in the systems and work that help a business run smoothly. She later brought her skills together with Bill’s to build ACC into the specialist consultancy it is today.

At ACC, Susie oversees financial management and office operations. She also supports the team and contributes to the business’s long-term planning and growth. Her practical approach and deep knowledge of ACC help keep its operations grounded and responsive.

After more than 25 years with ACC, Susie values the relationships she has built with staff, clients and industry partners. She is proud to contribute to the company’s continued development and future.

Reece is General Manager of ACC, bringing more than 25 years of management experience and an MBA from Deakin University to the leadership of the business. He also holds an Associate Diploma of Electronics from RMIT and has a practical background in electronics, providing a technical foundation that continues to support his work today.

Combining extensive management experience with a strong understanding of corrosion, cathodic protection and electrical systems, Reece takes a practical approach to project delivery, client relationships and business operations. He maintains a strong technical influence across the business, helping ensure ACC’s work meets relevant standards, client requirements and established industry practice.

As General Manager, Reece is focused on supporting ACC’s technical team, developing the company’s capabilities and ensuring clients receive practical, responsive and commercially realistic solutions.

Tiffinie Reeves is ACC’s Business Manager, overseeing human resources, workplace health and safety, administration, training and organisational systems. Since joining ACC in 2012, she has played an important role in supporting the company’s people and operations and enabling effective project delivery.

Tiffinie completed a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) at Monash University before joining Crown Melbourne’s events team and completing a Graduate Certificate in Event Management. She later spent three years overseas, pursuing her interest in travel while continuing to develop her skills in a variety of industries.

After returning to Australia, Tiffinie rejoined Crown Melbourne, working in events before becoming Executive Assistant to the Crown Retail General Manager. She brought extensive experience in administration, coordination and organisational processes to ACC.

With a practical, collaborative and people-focused approach, Tiffinie works closely with ACC’s management and technical teams to maintain and improve the systems that underpin the business.

Linh Vu is a Senior Corrosion Engineer at ACC, specialising in cathodic protection and corrosion engineering for water, civil and industrial infrastructure. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Electrical and Computer Systems from Monash University and is a member of Engineers Australia and the Australasian Corrosion Association.

Linh Vu has extensive experience in the design, installation, commissioning, monitoring and assessment of impressed current and sacrificial anode cathodic protection systems. His experience encompasses pipelines, tanks, pumping infrastructure, reinforced concrete structures and other buried and immersed metallic assets.

Combining detailed engineering capability with practical field experience, Linh Vu works closely with asset owners, consultants and contractors to develop cathodic protection solutions that are technically sound, constructible and suited to the long-term requirements of the assets they protect.
